Status of the Inventory

The National MPA Center estimates that when the inventory is complete, there will be between 1,500 and 2,000 sites in the database. The data are expected to be final in 2006. The table below represents those agencies and states that have data posted on www.mpa.gov. All other states/territories/commonwealths (states) and federal agencies involved in the Inventory are in the data collection or data review phase.
